After a very long time of providing webpages and hosting for free to everybody, Yahoo closed down the GeoCities-Service today. When it started back in 1994 it was the start of something new. Now I would say it is the end of an aera…. didn’t we all start with GeoCities in some way back then?

Bummer ! I remember creating my very first website on Geocities, I was around 16 and it was about skateboard… Good times
